Common questions

Is this the official test?

No. This app is an independent study tool. The test itself is taken with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and the only official study guide is Discover Canada, free on canada.ca. Always check canada.ca for the current rules before your test.

Does a good score in the app mean I will pass?

No app can promise that. The pass estimate is based on your practice and is meant to show where to study next.

Who is premier / Prime Minister in the app — is it up to date?

Each name was checked against its government source on the date shown in the app, and new names arrive with app updates. After an election or appointment, update the app; if an answer still looks out of date, report the question.

Can I study in French?

Yes. Choose French for the interface and for the test in Settings. Explanations are available in 11 languages.

I got a new phone. Where is my progress?

Progress is stored only on your device; there is no account and no sync. Restoring a full device backup can bring it back; otherwise it starts fresh.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. The app collects nothing, so we hold no data about you; see the privacy policy.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
